What an absolute sweetheart! Senior photos are one of my favorites and in this post, you'll get to see a few extras from this session.
When I get back from a photo session, I like to upload my images straight to my computer and edit several of my favorites to share via social media with my client. Having just come from the session themselves, I love giving this instant gratification because it may be another couple weeks before the gallery is completed.
Well, not only do I have pre-edited favorites but usually a different set of favorites once all the images are complete. That's what this group is.
I often get comments from my clients like, "You captured my child's spirit," or "You got their personality in that photo." These comments mean so much to me - it's my goal in a session. It's an uncomfortable thing, getting your photo taken. An anxious thing. A vulnerable thing. But I love when I feel as though I have succeeded in catching the right light in someone's eyes or using their background to tell a story about them.
What a blessing and honor it was to take your photos, Ellie! Thank you!
"Light makes photography. Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography."
